Buried Treasure

Once upon a time, three highly evolved beings came to visit earth, bringing with them a gift of incomparable value to give to mankind.  In their wisdom, they realized that humans had become so entranced with the stories they had created about themselves, they had forgotten just how wise and magnificent they really were.  The gift they brought to earth was the gift of remembering:  that each human may remember that his true nature was far greater than his current lifetime’s story, that he had inner wisdom that was more profound than any book ever written, that far from being alone, in reality he has never been, nor ever would be separate from All That Has Life everywhere and, best of all, that the very core of his essence was founded in pure, unconditional love.

This was a priceless gift indeed.

The first highly evolved being suggested they go onto the earth and give all the humans this extremely valuable gift, so they might awaken and remember Who They Really Are.

The second being, in his wisdom, disagreed with this idea, saying that the human race had not yet evolved to a place where they could fully appreciate the value of such an awakening.  Further, he was concerned that in their disconnection with themselves they might abuse their new found wisdom in ways that were coming from a place of fear and personal gain, rather than a place of loving co-creation with the other inhabitants, human and otherwise, on this amazing planet.

The third highly evolved being then said he had a solution that could address both of these ideas.  He suggested that they place this remembrance of each person’s own unique and radiant light deeply within each person’s soul, saying, “Until they go within, it will be the last place they’d ever look!”

Some thoughts on chakras

While chakras are invisible to the naked eye, they are a huge component of how we function and experience life around us.  Each chakra, spherical in shape, represents invisible information centers from which we subconsciously draw information to serve every single moment of our lives.  These chakras operate much like the pupil in your eye:  they open and close in spontaneous reaction to what we are experiencing right then.  Example:  the first chakra is located in front of your tailbone at the bottom of your spine.  The information held in this chakra has to do with all the information you, as spirit, have about your body’s survival.  If you are at home, nearly asleep on the couch, from all the information you have in your first chakra about keeping your body alive, you may only have that chakra open about 5% -- basic maintenance, if you will.  BUT, if you then heard a loud explosion just outside, your first chakra would immediately open to 85% or more, flooding your system with information you may need to find out what happened and possibly triggering adrenaline as well.  This puts your body on high alert so that, if need be, you can avoid any threat to your life.  Here are some (not all!) of the attributes of each of our chakras (all but the top 2 of which are located just in front of your spine):

First chakra (sometimes called the root chakra):

Location:  just in front of your tailbone, base of the spine

Information:  everything you need to know about keeping your body alive; survival

Body organs affected:  when this chakra is at 70% open or more, your body will emotionally respond as if in mortal danger; this chakra affects the body more than any other chakra

Second chakra:

Location:  just below your bellybutton; on women, in the middle of your reproductive organs

Information:  your own info about your sexuality, sensuality; also embodies your ability to relate to others’ emotions (also called clairsentience)  “I know just how you feel”

Body organs affected:  reproductive organs; gender identification

Third chakra:

Location:  solar plexus

Information:  your info about all aspects of control:  being controlled, controlling others and controlling your environment/your life

Body organs affected:  stomach (i.e., a continued sense of having no control or struggling to control a situation can create ulcers, weight gain around the solar plexus, high stress)

Fourth or heart chakra:

Location:  just below the sternum (not over your heart), center of your chest

Information:  all you know about love:  being loved, loving others, loving Self and All That Is

Body organs affected:  heart and lungs (i.e., when you lose a beloved, the grief that is triggered in your heart chakra can be physically felt as “heartache”)

Fifth or throat chakra:

Location:  center of your throat (roughly where men would have the Adam’s apple)

Information:  all you know about communication (including how to express your thoughts, telepathy, how to receive communication from others – all levels of communication)

Body organs affected:  your throat and your ability to literally speak your truth; since your telepathic channels parallel your sinuses, when your telepaths are jammed from too many conversations in your head, you may feel stuffed up or congested

Sixth chakra:

Location:  middle of your forehead (also called your third eye)

Information:  your info about acknowledging and analyzing everything happening in your life, both seen in physicality and unseen as in energy and emotions; this is your master analyzer.

Body organs affected:  headaches, a sense of being “dull headed” when you’re trying to figure things out, so that seeing your available options for viable solutions becomes compromised

Seventh or crown chakra:

Location:  top of your head, slightly to the back of your head (think of that bald spot for men)

Information:  this is your knowing, your clarity about what is right and true for you (keep in mind, what may be absolute truth for you may not be so for others – they have their own); while the 6th chakra analyses and processes info with infinite options, the 7th chakra has a simple clarity that offers you a sense of what is truth for you; “this is what is so”.  This critical chakra integrates who you are as a body with who you are as a spirit.

Body organs affected:  since this chakra is the least connected to you as a physical body, it is more about you as an emotional, spiritual entity than you as a physical entity.  That being said, if there is much confusion in your crown chakra, you’ll feel “off” – lacking clarity about what to do next, where to go and what would be the best options to create joy and success in your life.  The crown is like the rudder on a ship:  it sets the ship in your chosen direction, while allowing you to enjoy the view (and even change course, as needed) along the way.

More thoughts on chakras:

Some new age teachers would encourage students to fully open up all of their chakras.  Really?  Consider this:  how will your body respond when you open your first chakra to 100%?  You will be in absolute panic since your body will think you are facing inevitable death!  Not a good plan.

It’s a commonly held idea that each of the chakras are always a specific color.  I disagree.  In God’s infinite palate of colors, why would something as evolving and ever-changing as your chakras stay the same color?  The colors in your chakras change every time you change your thoughts and emotions.  For example:  If Suzy was having a great day and her little son just said “I love you mommy!” the color in her heart chakra may be vibrant oranges and greens, in response to the love from her son.  Moments later the phone rings and she’s told her mom just passed away.  Gone are the happy oranges and greens and now come grays and blacks as the reality of grief comes to her heart.  At any one time, there can be multiple colors in any chakra.

Are there more than 7 chakras?  Absolutely.  The 8th chakra and above have spiritual information that is not related to your relationship with your current body and current lifetime, but they relate to you as an eternal being – your larger “beingness” if you will, beyond this physical body.

Can you “turn off” your chakras?  Would you voluntarily stop breathing?  No, you can’t.  J
